Composite heat-insulating fire-resistant glass is a special heat-insulating glass that is injected with fire-resistant gel into the cavity of two or more layers of float white glass, chemically treated and condensed, optimized and compounded, and meets the requirements of corresponding fire resistance rating.

Fire protection principle

The fire resistance and thermal insulation is due to the fact that the glass on the fire side of the glass will burst when it is exposed to fire, and the interlayer of the middle layer of the fire retardant adhesive will expand when it is exposed to thermal foaming, so as to maintain the integrity, and when it is exposed to thermal foaming, it will maintain the temperature resistance and flame retardance of the whole glass itself, forming a thermal insulation and shielding effect, which not only prevents the spread of the open fire, but also ensures that the glass on the back fire side will not rise in temperature, and prevents the spontaneous combustion of the surrounding.

Place of use

Composite fireproof glass can be used for punching, sizing, edging and other operations. It is widely used in fireproof glass doors, fireproof windows, fireproof glass partitions, fireproof glass walls, etc. of building rooms, passages and corridors. If it is used in exterior windows or exterior walls, it is recommended to combine the fireproof glass with PVB laminated glass.
