High borosilicate fire-proof glass is a fire-proof glass made of borosilicate glass with high chemical stability, high temperature resistance and high transparency through special processing. Its fire resistance is derived from its very low thermal expansion coefficient, which is 2 to 3 times lower than ordinary silicate glass. It is a kind of fully integrated non-insulated single-piece fireproof glass with high safety, which is different from the single-piece bright potassium fireproof glass.

The different thickness of high borosilicate fireproof glass can reach the fire resistance limit of 3 hours after authoritative testing, while the single piece of bright potassium fireproof glass can only reach 1 hour. The content of borosilicate in the visually unstable high borosilicate fireproof glass is high, with boron accounting for 12.5~13.5%, and silicon content of 78~80%. Therefore, the high borosilicate fireproof glass has excellent acid resistance and alkali resistance, and can adapt to the temperature difference of 520C.

In addition, the high borosilicate fireproof glass also has high softening point, excellent thermal shock resistance and viscosity. It can be kept at high temperature of 750C for a long time without any change, and the softening point can reach above 850C.
